Core barrel with rock bits or roller bits for different hard formation projects:

1. Core barrel with bullet bits (Applicable for strong rock up to 100Mpa or rock with deep cracks)

2. Core barrel with roller bits (Applicable for very strong rock formations with compressive strength greater than 100Mpa)

Cutting a ring in rock or concrete and slightly reinforce concrete is the main application of core barrel.

The center core of the rock or concrete is usually crushed with rock bits.The most important advantage of a core barrel is that it assists to concentrate the torque and crowd force on a small ring of cutting teeth.

It is suitable for medium or slightly weathered rock, hard or superhard bedrock layers.

1. Cutting ring with rock drilling bits and roller bits release the internal stress of rock.

2. Rock drilling bits perform stage breaking and drilling.

3. Small barrel facilitates the coring operation; large barrel performs stage breaking.

4. Drilling with the method of rolling and squeezing can increases the anti-wear ability of the barrel.
